Meet Our Teachers
Mr. Villareal, 5th - 8th Grades
Hello, I am Victor Villareal. I was born and raised in California and finished my college degree in Education at the Adventist University of the Phillipines. I have been blessed to have lived in Washington State, Ohio, and now North Dakota.
I am excited, eager, and humbled that the Lord has led me to this moment in my life where I can use my skills, talents, and testimony for the Ministry of Education.
My mission as a teacher is to represent, portray, and share Christ's love; to help prepare the future generation, to not only be patriotic citizens of the United States of America, but to be responsible stewards of God's creation - for this life and the next. I will do my best to create a safe, fair, and engaging classroom environment.
My hobbies include singing, learning new skills, cooking, and participating in outdoor sporting activities.
Mrs. Coto, 1st - 4th Grades and Head Teacher
Hello Hillcrest families! I grew up here in the peaceful North Dakota countryside on my family's farm and ranch. I'm thrilled that God has brought me back to this beautiful state after college and three years of teaching in Nebraska.
Because children are such a precious gift from God, I consider teaching a privilege. I love working with children of all ages and appreciate the opportunity to nurture young lives. My goal is to make my classroom a haven of love and learning while ever introducing my students to my best friend, Jesus.
When I'm not in my classroom, you might find me out for a run, enjoying sports, photography, and a variety of my favorite arts and crafts. I'm thrilled to become part of the Hillcrest family and look forward to getting to know each of you better.
Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Peter Simpson
Pastor Peter, the pastor for the Jamestown SDA Church district, originally hails from South Africa, and came to our school with a long history of involvement with denominational schools. He has worked as Academy Chaplain for the Sedaven High School back in the day, as well as at Mount Vernon Academy in Ohio.
He comes to our school weekly to conduct a joint worship for our kids and will also be involved in Bible Studies, preparing our students to know Jesus better.
Pastor Justin Walker
Hi, my name is Pastor Justin Walker, and I am excited to be here in Jamestown! I have spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest, and have absolutely loved it there. I have also lived in Michigan and Australia.
I am excited about the ministry that God has called me to here in Jamestown, ND and can hardly wait to see more of what he has planned!
I believe that our young people need the experience of Jesus and strong Christian leaders more than ever before and that they experience him best through loving relationship. My hope is to teach our young people more about who Jesus is by demonstrating the love he has given me through relationship with them.
